Hong Kong is located near the equator and is considered a special administrative region in the south of the People's Republic of China. As in all countries near the equator, the climate is subtropical, which is why there is no difference in the seasons so both the day lengths do not vary much and the temperature differences between summer and winter are not particularly large. In the colder months, depending on the area, it can get down to 57°F (14°C) at night. Basically the average temperatures are between 66°F and 90° F (19°C - 32°C) over the year, at the times of day.
