Close to the Canadian border you will find Glacier National Park. It is wilderness area located in Montana\'s Rocky Mountains. You can witness the shapes, valleys and cirques that have been carved into the mountains by the 150 glaciers that have existed in the park years ago.

The weather can be extreme and is greatly changeable, meaning that the temperature can drop a 100 degrees from one day to another. So be prepared for any kind of weather to encounter when enjoying outdoor activities. This extreme weather conditions are caused by the clash of two different climates. While Arctic air brings cold and dry weather, from the Pacific Glacier National Park gets warm air.
In spring highs range from 38°F (3°C) to 70°F (22°C) from March through May. Expect 12 days of rain per month. All\r\ntourist attractions are open to visit.
Summer shows comfortably high temperatures around 80°F (27°C) with 6 days of rain on average why it is the busiest season of the year.
Temperatures in fall are still moderate with 77°F (25°C) dropping to 33°F (2°C) in the later months but the humidity and wind makes it feel cooler than this. Rain is similar to the other seasons with about 10 days on average. It is not very touristy at these times.
Winter is even colder with an average temperature of around 35°F (2°C). Snow can be expected on 21 days of the months. You can experience solitude in terms of other tourist.
