Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta or Indio and with its beautiful golf and polo courses, luxury hotels and shopping malls is probably best known for its annual
Coachella festival.

hot and dry weather all year round. High temperatures range from the
low 70s F in winter to highs of up to 107°F in the hottest month which is July.
As typical for desert climates, it does cool down at night. Even though days are warm in winter as well, it can get as
cold as 43°F at night in January. It is
very dry all year round with a maximum of 2 rainy days in the wettest month which is January.
Best Time to Visit Coachella Valley
If you are looking for hot weather, a trip to the Coachella Valley is worth it at any time of the year. Summer time however, with highs of 107°F, might be even too hot for the most sun loving visitors!
You might find the winter months from November until March, or maybe April, the most pleasant with temperatures in the 70s and 80s F. Remember though that nights can be cool in the desert!
April, of course, is the best time to visit if you’re looking to see some of the superstar headliners at the Coachella Festival!
